The Establishment Of PGA ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING
Being established in January 2002 to collaborate with UPF a plastic factory and Alt Construction. At the early stage of its establishment PGA was involved to introduce Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) Pressure Pipes in the whole country. And also stands as the only manufacturer and supplier of these products to cover the need of the entire market of the Country. In parallel it has also involved in performing turn key project such as sanitary fixture supply & installation works. After fulfilling and achieving its main objective and/or its original business goal PGA transformed its business plan and started in dealing all matters related to the supply and management of water, in design and implementation of Electro-mechanical activities of small and high scale projects and in construction sector and much more.
Our Time Line
It all started on year 1998 GC as ALT construction owned by owned by the current general
manager of PGA Eng. And Manu. Plc.
ALT construction was involving in the construction of buildings, small weirs and elctro-
mechanical works and then in year 2000 Gc PGA TECH PLC was formed together with two
Italian partners and the current owner of PGA and in this company PGA was involved in the
supply and installation of electro mechanical, swimming pools, sanitary system, treatment
plant and manufacturing section after that in the year 2017 PGA TECH PLC decided to open
the sister company which is called PGA Engineering and Manufacturing Plc. And divided and
form the current PGA Engineering and Manufacturing.
Our Mission
As the only Company who is used to prepare a project study from zero and also keep the most essential
items for its project in Ethiopia, we obviously enjoy distinct advantages in this respect. All the know-
how and expertise are available in house, hence making access to dependable back-up service and also
getting spare parts that much quick and easy.
From our products that are kept in our store, the local origin of our complete pipe systems allows us to
give our clients price structures that take this into account. Being involved in manufacturing also
means we have to master and possess comprehensive competence in all aspects of these new
technologies.
This in turn ensures our clients installation and service capabilities that guarantee cost-effective
implementation and operation of their projects.
Long term goals in Manufacturing
Our long-term goal (which is already underway) is to establish a leading manufacturing company that combines innovation, efficiency, and precision to manufacture HDPE butt welding fittings and PPR pipe fittings. This will be visualized in collaboration with a well known firm in the field of injection machine manufacturer Tederic Smart Injection Machine. We aim to integrate advanced automation and smart manufacturing technologies into our production processes. This partnership will enable us to produce high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective products while continuously expanding our capabilities and contributing to the growth of the industrial sector in our Country and furthermore to East Africa.
